In this assignment we will take a high resolution greyscale image from the Library of Congress, find a person who is photographed in full figure, cut them out, and place them over a saturated flat color background. The image size will be 19″ x 13″ at 300 pixels per inch. The person will be approximately five inches tall in the print. The person is to be cut out with high quality precision – realistic edges, no body parts cut-off, no background revealed. Then we will print this on A3 paper – preferably matte.
