Decide on a domain name and find out of it is available. Log into Bluehost (or the hosting provider of your choice) and set up an account. Do not lose your account username and password. Set up an FTP account and write down its username and password. On your local computer, create a basic webpage in a folder that has simple formatting, images, and links. Upload those files to your FTP account (be sure to name your html file index.html). Now you have a basic website. Email me a link to your website (send email to patterson53@gapps.marshall.edu) along with a short write-up describing what you did, what you learned and what you had trouble with.
