Level: Intermediate.
Film Studios and many other companies have logo animations that precede their program/show/movie etc. These are usually ignored by audiences, but they discretely set a tone for what audiences are about to perceive (usually power, stability, and razzle dazzle). We are going to take a closer look at how they work.
From the attached collection of files (on Brightspace), choose an animation that you think you can recreate with your existing skills and recreate it as closely as you can but CHANGE THE TEXT to say something else to make it unique and yours. The composition, movements, timing, textures, atmospheric effects must be as closely matched as possible. You can use the same audio as the original clip, but you could make your own if you so choose.
Pro Tip: Choose an easy one. Get it done. Then with the time you have left, recreate a more challenging animation. Include both when you turn it in.
Deliverables:
1 or more 1920×1080 24fps mp4 H265 animations. Use ‘perceptually lossless’ or ‘high quality’ encoding settings.
A Project write-up and/or sketches, failed renders.
