This project was a two-weekend animation for a music video that needed a worm flying through a forest.
Here’s some playblasts and experimental renders from the project.
A very blurry shot needed to be camera solved with composited glowing/rocket worm performing a rapid unscheduled disassembly.
Lastly, my son had the brilliant idea of strapping a GoPro to the worm. So using various constraints, I managed to create this POV shot.
