I recently concluded the design and programming of a touch screen interface system that is the culmination of four years of redesigns and project redefinitions. The system utilizes a PHP/MySQL driven back-end built by my colleague, Brian Morgan, while I created the functionality and animations for the front-end. This part of the project was originally built with Flash, but I decided to rebuild it using only HTML5/CSS3 and jQuery. The system simply runs in a browser in kiosk mode and auto-adjusts to any screen size. It is permanently installed in the WV Museum of Culture and History in Charleston, West Virginia.
